Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of comfortpro-hvac.com and any HVAC service you engage Comfort Pro HVAC to perform. Please read them in full — they cover pricing, warranty, cancellation, liability, and how disputes are resolved. By using the site or scheduling service you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.

Acceptance of Terms

By using this site or engaging Comfort Pro HVAC for service, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you are scheduling on behalf of a property owner, landlord, or business, you represent that you have authority to authorize the work and to bind that party to these terms.

Service Estimates and Authorization

All flat-rate quotes are provided in writing prior to work commencing. Diagnostic fees, when applicable, are disclosed before the technician begins troubleshooting. You authorize all work explicitly — either in person, by signed digital form, or by recorded phone approval — before any labor begins. Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue unless otherwise noted. Additional work discovered after a quote is approved will be priced and re-authorized separately.

Scheduling, Arrival Windows, and Cancellation

We schedule appointments in two-hour arrival windows and call ahead when our technician is on the way. Emergency dispatches target a 60–120 minute arrival depending on city. Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled at no charge up to two hours before the start of the arrival window. Same-window cancellations may incur a trip fee equal to the diagnostic charge.

Warranty

Repair work carries a 2-year parts-and-labor warranty. Installation work carries a 10-year labor warranty plus the full manufacturer's parts warranty registered in your name. Maintenance plan members receive priority warranty service and an extended labor warranty on covered equipment. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, lack of routine maintenance, water or fire damage, power surges, modifications by third parties, or acts of God.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of work unless financing has been arranged in advance. We accept all major credit and debit cards, ACH bank transfer, and approved financing through our partner lenders. Outstanding balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month after 30 days. Returned-payment fees and reasonable collection costs may be added to delinquent accounts.

Permits, Code, and Inspection

Where local jurisdictions require permits or inspections for HVAC work, Comfort Pro HVAC pulls the permits in our name and coordinates inspections. Permit fees, when not included in the quoted price, are billed at cost. You agree to provide reasonable access to the equipment, attic, crawl space, electrical panel, and outdoor work areas during the appointment.

Liability

Comfort Pro HVAC carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance in every state we serve. Certificates of insurance are available on request. Our maximum liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages including loss of business, spoiled food, or alternative-lodging costs, except where prohibited by state law.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the service was performed without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Most disputes can be resolved by a phone call to our office. Any dispute not resolved informally within 30 days will be resolved through binding arbitration in the county where the service was performed, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court.
